 It's been a while...
So maybe I'm not the best at updating the news, but that doesn't mean we are dead. Most of the people who would actually look at this page already talk with other members on a daily basis, so I don't really see the need to update the news regularly. Like always most everyone is busy, I guess that is what happens when you start playing with people in their teens, 10+ years later they're all grown up worrying with families and careers.

Currently the bulk of active members are playing Modern Warfare 3 on PC. There are a fair number of "oldies" who playing FPS games on Xbox but they don't really play together as a clan. One of the things we've always been lacking is some way to voice chat, so we now have our own Teamspeak 3 server, 66.55.149.29:9214 Feel free to stop in and say "Hey" now and then, it will be most active on the weekends. That pretty much sums up what has been going on. Maybe if we get talking with some of the older guys it'll spur them into dusting off their computers and playing a real game without having the console aim for you ;)

 10 years...
I've been thinking for the last couple of days about what I could possibly say about the clan turning 10 years old, and truthfully, I've got nothing. There have been so many ups and downs, awesome members, and great times that I can't put the words together to even attempt to summarize them all. Looking back, the thing that sticks out the most to me is the community of friends we have been able to create. We've never been about kicking everyone's ass, being "the best", or touting some great match record. We've been about having fun and playing games with like-minded people. That's what has allowed us to last as long as we have, and that is what will keep us going in the future.

The success and longevity of this clan is due to the countless hours many of you have devoted to it over years of service, and for that I am eternally grateful. As time has passed we have all grown up together and now find ourselves with families, careers, and continued education. Now, more than ever, our continued success relies on our members who I know will not let us down. Whether you can only manage a few moments to say hey on IM, or can spare a few hours to play games, I thank you again for your time, and look forward to playing with you.

 Modern Warfare 2
For the last few years we've been trying to get members to play Call of Duty 4, but that proved to be difficult. Members had school, jobs, families, and other obligations that kept them from playing games. With all of the press Modern Warfare 2 received, it got some of these members interesting in playing games again. With much discussion and some computer upgrades, I'm pleases to say we have a decent crew playing MW2 now.

Much of this is due to the addiction of several new members. Unlike many members that play on the console, Malttocs had a group of friends that play PC, and they decided to expand their group into a division for LDB. With the addition of these friendly and talented players, LDB MW2 is going well and will hopefully expand. There is some difficulty at times playing MW2 due to cheating and IWNet/Steam issues. Due to this, those who do have Call of Duty 4 may still play it from time to time.

So, please visit us on Steam if you have questions, comments, or would like to join.

 COD4 / BHD Roster Update
For those that have been living under a rock, NovaLogic shut down the server list for BHD several years ago. We lost contact with many of the members from BHD, but others expressed interest in remaining in the clan and playing a different game in the future. I've attempted to update the roster accordingly. Please contact me via the Forum or Contact Us page if you would like to be added back to the roster. Some 14 members were removed from the roster including a lot of really cool guys that we have many fond memories of, so I hope a few turn up in the future.

Due to jobs, life, military service… some members have been unable or were unwilling to make the switch from COD4 to MW2, those members have also been added to the General Members list. Like explained above, there is a possibility we may still play COD4 from time to time, but there was not enough active members to keep the COD4 roster.

 Members in military service
I've privately spoken to many of these members over the last several years, but it really deserves to be mention on the website. I have lost count of the members that are currently serving in the armed forces for both the US and other countries around the world. I always knew we had great members, but I never expected to have the opportunity to play and become friends with so many selfless, dedicated, and truly amazing people. Add to this a number of members who are retired from active service, we truly have an astonishing group of guys. Thank you all for your past and present military service, we will continue to keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
