Division Information |
{LDB} plays in many different games. Each group of members in a game is called a division. Each division has it’s own division leader and it's own structure. Divisions may or may not have ranks. Below is just some miscellaneous information about divisions in {LDB}.
Division leaders have control over their individual division. They can recruit, kick out, give out ranks… Clan leaders have full control over the clan this includes divisions. If the clan leader finds it necessary to intervene in something going on in a division he can and will.
The clan leader does not normally deal with things going on in a specific division, the clan leaders main job is to deal with the big picture type stuff, for example the site, forum, getting new divisions started, and making sure everything is going smoothly. The clan leader will help out anywhere he can.
Divisions must be approved by the clan leader.
It is recommended that those seeking to start a division in {LDB} are already members of the clan or have played with us in the past. That way they know how the clan operates and it will help divisions have a greater chance of success. To fill out the application to possibly become a division leader click here.
If a division leader is found to be abusing their power or are not keeping up with their responsibilities to the clan, they can be removed and a new division leader appointed to fill the position.
Division leaders are required to keep an up to date list of their members and their e-mail addresses. That list should be readily availably incase I ask for it.
The division leader must inform the clan leader of anything going on in their division that may affect the rest of the clan. For example clan wars or disputes with others in the gaming community.
New divisions will be added to the site when the following has been done:
1.) 8 to 10+ members in the division most of which are new to the clan. This means the majority of the members cannot be members that were already in the clan in another division.
2.) The division must be well established in the new game. Basically the members know what they are doing in the game. It's not some group of n00bs who started playing the game yesterday.
3.) It is apparent that the division will succeed and strive in the new game. I don't want to waste my time adding a division to the site if the division is only going to last 2 weeks.
4.) I’m in a good mood and I'm not busy.
